La Tegala “Centro Socio Cultural”
In all the cities of Lanzarote it is common to find a non-profit organization with a bar / restaurant where the inhabitants usually go to eat and carry out social and cultural activities. Haría’s is a bit more elegant than most, being a great place to go for lunch or dinner daily. A great variety of quality Canarian cuisine.
La Puerta Verde
An excellent restaurant; following the philosophy of “slow food”, which is located in the center of Haria. Do not hesitate to try grilled octopus – one of the best you can find in the Canary Islands!
La Casita de la Playa
This excellent restaurant is incredibly located right in front of Arrieta beach. Typical and delicious food at very popular prices – it can be very busy on sunny days.
Jameos del Agua
If you are looking for a romantic atmosphere, few places can compete with dinner at Jameos del Agua. The exquisite use of light in such an incredible environment creates an atmosphere like no other. Located just 10 minutes away by car, reservations are mandatory, as the restaurant service only opens in the evenings on Tuesdays and Saturdays (also Wednesdays during the summer). You can book / buy at the CACT (government agency that manages the main tourist centers of the island) by clicking on the name.
PLAYA BLANCA
EL MIRADOR
In the Rubicon Marina, with a terrace literally above the sea, and from where you can see beautiful sunsets. A modern restaurant, with a “Chill Out” touch that is definitely worth a try. One of our favorites is salmon rolls accompanied by a white wine from Lanzarote.
LA CUBIERTA
Probably the best value for money in Marina Rubicon.
Simple tapas but very well made and with excellent views (the only restaurant in the Marina that is on the second floor). It has an unbeatable service.
NINEN
Tiny but charming Italian restaurant in the center of Playa Blanca. Be sure to reserve a table next to the window!
CHIRINGUITO CALA PAPAGAYO
A good beach restaurant in what is possibly the best location on the whole island: the magnificent Papagayo Beach.

If you like Japanese cuisine this is your place. Located in Puerto Calero, they offer the best Sushi in Lanzarote prepared at the moment while enjoying views of the marina.
THE HARBOUR CLUB
A new restaurant in Puerto Calero offering international cuisine with perfect service. For lunch or dinner, hamburgers are highly recommended! Also ideal for coffee or Gin Tonic.
LA PORTENA
An Argentine restaurant, also in Puerto Calero. If you eat meats this site will be your new favorite. They only open for dinner.
PUERTO DEL CARMEN
TABERNA DE NINO
A long time favorite for many. Taberna de Nino is located in El Varadero in Puerto del Carmen, one of the best areas. The terrace has fantastic views over the varadero. The perfect place for tapas!
BARBACOA GRILL DON RAFAEL
A charming place where the staff is friendly and they serve you quickly. Grilled food is highly recommended with a great quality-price reputation. There is also a trattoria very close on the avenue with the same reputation. Better reserve a table in high season!
LA CASCADA
Located in the Varadero area of Puerto del Carmen, is the La Cascada Restaurant, awarded by the “Que Bueno” guide among others, this star restaurant offers unbeatable cuisine. The best place to eat meat on the island, without a doubt. Very popular for residents. They will return, without a doubt. Abundant portions at reasonable prices.
EMMAX (next to the airport)
A favorite in Lanzarote for many many years. Located in Playa Honda, on the beach promenade. Delicious fresh pasta mixed with fresh produce of the day. There is no fixed menu, they usually change it on a blackboard every day.
COSTA AZUL(To include in the visit to the South)
Typical cuisine of Lanzarote, especially fresh fish and seafood. This place is unique, located directly in front of the sea and with beautiful views.
The service is very friendly and for Sunday lunch it is advisable to call in advance.
BODEGA DE SANTIAGO (On the way to the mountains of fire)
This place has first class quality and kept it for many years with local products. For three years he has been nominated as a finalist for the best restaurant in the Canary Islands for the prestigious Canarian guide “Que Bueno”. It has a flirtatious terrace under a huge tree on a rural farm with a small house that serves recipes and Canarian products to taste Gastronomy in Lanzarote.
